More About Us

Born into a Wisconsin dairy farming family, the eldest of 13 children, Gary has been around animals of all kinds, and dogs in particular, most of his life.  The only time dogs were not an active part of his life were the 4 years he spent in the U.S. Marine Corps. 

Barbara on the other hand is the younger of 2 children and was raised in a small town in eastern Wisconsin, where her father worked as

a millwright and master carpenter in the paper mill and her mother worked in retail.  She never owned a dog until we became involve with the Anatolians.  We have often joked that she was simply waiting until she found the best!

We want to make following clear to all who visit our site or our kennel:  THIS IS NOT WHAT WE DO FOR A LIVING!

Both of us work full time in the insurance industry.  Barbara is a Systems Workflow Specialist in the Information Systems Department in her company and Gary is an Underwriter with his employer.

BREEDING AND SHOWING OUR DOGS IS SOMETHING WE DO BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BREED AND FEEL IT DESERVES TO BE PRESENTED TO THE PUBLIC.
